2014. Momentum (Social Club)
When you package whales, ostriches and jetpacks into a single production, you know you’re onto a winner. In this Libresse commercial, created together with director Robert Nylund of Social Club, we helped produce a number of technical solutions. The TVC featured a detailed and entirely digital humpback whale that was integrated with the ocean and accompanied by realistic icebergs. For the jetpack scene our team simulated smoke, flames and sparks while removing objects like wires. Last but definitely not least, a rather complex split screen was composited to achieve the three girls riding ostriches in the same shot — because one just wasn’t enough.
