To celebrate the 2016 Olympics and the global launch of the Nissan Kicks, Official Car of the Olympics, we teamed up with Google to capture the unique spirit of the Games in a spanking edition of Street View. Nissan Kicks View gives those who couldn’t be there a glimpse into a city in celebration and eternalized the Olympic magic for everyone who was there. We rigged the car with a 360 camera and then drove down Rio’s iconic Copacabana beach, with sports fans and locals flocking to appear in the shots in response to an online awareness campaign.
