In the 80s, Swedish coffee roastery Gevalia launched the legendary Unexpected Visits campaigns that transformed the brand overnight. Thirty years later, Gevalia is revisiting the ad that started it all with a new TVC. MediaMonks Stockholm had the honour of reproducing this classic ad for a contemporary audience. Paying close attention to the original photo montage, we looked after everything from the on-set VFX and post production to the grading, sound design and online finishing. As the end shot is also used in outdoor advertising, we had to produce the TVC at a resolution exceeding traditional ads.
