With lots of ideas flowing for how to bring Gemalto's services to life, the idea of making it personal won the day. Lounging on a beach oblivious to what lies ahead, Joe must find a way back so that he can perform his duties as best man at Vijay's wedding. An exciting and fast-paced journey sees Joe getting on planes, trains and automobiles, buying a unique wedding present, buying a suit and even riding a bike in flip flops! Throughout Joe's journey we see numerous 'Gemalto moments' where Joe is interacting with Gemalto products and services which help him on his way. But will he make it to the wedding on time…?
With a total of 47 visual effects shots including screen replacement, tracking, and detailed work to change signage on shops, airports and cars, the film used every facet of the Scorch post-production team's skills.
The final film was a great success, being described by Gemalto themselves as the best video they have ever produced.
