Spin Creative produced this retail marketing video (one of two) for ad agency Purdie Rogers and client Chamberlain. The video describes in simple and eye-catching detail how to install the MyQ Garage product –– an innovative device that sends a notification to a homeowner’s smart phone if their garage door is accidentally left open. MyQ then allows the homeowner to close the door remotely from their phone, giving them peace of mind that their home is secured.
The video is used primarily for point-of-purchase displays in retail stores such as Best Buy and Home Depot. The goal is to generate interest and raise awareness with potential customers –– and motivate them to buy MyQ.
The video features a professional narrator and shows actors in a clean, white environment. Bright, bold and colorful type (animated with 3D camera treatment) tout key installation steps, allowing the video to get the message across even in environments where the sound is turned off. Spin also created French language versions of each of the videos for French Canadian retail stores.
Great, collaborative experience working with the Purdie Rogers team and Chamberlain.
