Telmo  Vicente导演出生于葡萄牙的塞图巴尔市。 他曾在Luisa  Todi  Academy（路易莎托迪学院）学习音乐，这是他后来热爱电影艺术的重要因素。 他20岁时去到了葡萄牙的首都里斯本，并成功进入U.L.H.T，在那里追求自己的电影梦想。在这所大学，他完成了电影、视频和多媒体通讯的学习，并于2005年毕业。 大学毕业以后，他立即投身影视广告事业，成为了一名副导演，通过实践来让自己更多地了解这个行业。 在同一时期，他没有放弃理论知识的学习。他分别去到英国和美国，用他的话来说，就是去探索和发现。他先后参与了Judith  Weston的  “Directing  Actors”，Alan  Myerson  的“Directing  Actors  for  the  camera”，Mark  Kohl  的“Directing  TV  Commercials”，Robert  Mckee  的“Story”和“Genre”等关于摄影、剪辑和设计的交流学习小组。 在大学毕业后短短几年里，他就已经是100多部商业广告的副导。 他的第一部短片“Appetizer”获得了48小时电影节的最佳导演奖。随后的一部片子“Breathe”，正式被美国维吉尼亚的国际短电影节选中。他最近的一部片子“HORSE”，赢得了ADCE电视广告类的银奖，CCP  2015最佳影片里的金奖，同时还入选了El  OJO  Iberoamérica电影节。 Vodafone  TV获得M&P葡萄牙创意类奖项的Best  Campaign  2013里的铜奖。 去年，Marketeer杂志在年度10大Campaign中发表了“BIG  Social  Experiment”。

Telmo Vicente was born in Setúbal, Portugal, in July 1980.   

At the age of 6, music was a vast part of his education. At Luisa Todi Academy, he begins to discover and develop his creative process.

When he was 20 years old, he moved to Lisbon to pursue the craft of filmmaking at U.L.H.T.

In 2005, he completed his degree in Cinema and Multimedia Communication and shortly after, he began to work as an assistant director learning his way around the set.

Simultaneosly he attends several workshops like Judith Weston "Acting for director's", Alan Myerson "Directing Actors for the camera", Mark Kohl "Directing TV Commercials”, Robert Mckee "Story" and "Genre", Christopher Vogler "The writer's journey" and other.

After a lengthy learning curve as an AD, with over 100 commercials experience, Telmo begins to work as a director in 2013.

On feature films, his first short film “Appetizer” won best director award at the 48 Hours Film Festival. His second short film “Breathe” was selected at the International Short Film Festival, Virginia, USA.

In his latest work, the commercial "HORSE” was awarded with Silver for TV Commercials at ADCE, Gold for Best Film at CCP 2015 and officially selected at El OJO Iberoamérica Film Festival.

Vodafone TV campaign got Bronze for Best Campaign 2013 at the Creativity Awards M&P Portugal.

In 2015, Marketeer Magazine published "BIG Social Experiment" in the "top 10 Campaigns of the year.”

"Beach" was awarded with Silver, TV e Cinema, at Lusófonos creativity awards in 2018.
