Raphael is a London based Director and specializes in design driven animation projects ranging from Short Films and Music Videos to TV commercials. As an experimenter he is guided by a process, but not married to a system. He is fluent across a variety of mediums from Stop Motion, 3D animation to Live Action, and often finds himself combining these to fit the respective story at hands. An independent multi-disciplinary designer specializing in reduced art directions, where he explores the boundaries between the physical and the digital. If he had to put a name on his style it would probably be Stop Motion graphics and Graphic Design infused 3D animation.
The process behind his work is to fully immerse himself into his projects. Concept to post production Raphael takes a full hands on approach.
