Navy veteran Sheree suffered from depression, panic attacks and severe migraines. For 30 years, she was taking up to 20 different medications a week. Wanting to be drug free, Sheree was referred to the Addiction Medicine Program at Community Hospital Long Beach, where they medically managed her withdrawal symptoms. Finally feeling herself again, and off medication, Sheree serves a “face of hope” by fining happiness though dancing, and encouraging others to put on their dancing shoes.
