This was shot on an old Beaulieu R16 16mm camera. 3 crew members, 3 days and about 2000km. I wanted to capture the classic imagery of the road trip and tell the story of a lone traveler on a journey. All the flashes and film burnout are real, we fogged the film every now and again to get light leaks on the film. I wanted each shot to have a different grade but all within a cross-processed feel, referencing the hues and tones of lomography stills. We had lots of fun in telecine with this one.
