The goal was to capture the desperation and despair of soldiers who were left behind by their brothers - to establish an emotional story-arch of a solider that has been left: their isolation and despair, the instance they decide to escape, then finally the transcending moment of hope. Even when hope is present the way out is treacherous for these warriors. The stories are true – stories that span across time, countries, and military disciplines. There are DEA agents, fighter pilots, army soldiers, and British Special Forces, every is story unique and still part of a larger narrative.
