We worked with Goodby, Silverstein and Partners to create this series of attention-grabbing network enhancements and stadium advertisements.
The broadcast projects, for NBC/NFL Football and FOX NASCAR, were designed to overlay prime-time sports programming using innovative 2D and 3D graphics contained in an L-shaped video player. Sound design was done in-house, with finishing by TEAK Smoke artist Mark Everson. The enhancements featured 3D eyeballs, lasers, live action hot dog condiments and a tornado of BBQ – “attention grabbling” to say the least.
The NFL and NASCAR stadium graphics, helmed by TEAK animators, were created in After Effects and Maya 3D. They debuted as large-scale Sprint “stadium enhancements” on Jumbotrons around the country and featured smashing helmets, smoking cars, and all the action you want from NFL Football and NASCAR racing.
