Ailet is a virtual robot that can join you on stage in augmented reality, and steal your thunder in real-time. By mounting a HTC VIVE controller to a camera using a 3D-printed mount, Ailet’s appearance is adjusted based on the camera POV and on-stage lighting. As a result, Ailet looks much more real than your average AR production and can spontaneously react to the situation thanks to a diverse set of charming animations and responses. MediaMonks is responsible for the entire production, from the extensive VFX to the VR tracking technologies that enable Ailet to be added anywhere in real-time.
