2014. DDB & Tribal Amsterdam
A brand new Adidas football boot—backed by football phenoms Luis Suárez, Christian Bale, Karim Benzema, and James Rodriguez—quickly consumed the attention of the public. We joined forces with DDB & Tribal Amsterdam to promote this new line of shoes by creating a modular package for e-retailers’ websites featuring a high-end HTML experience and in your face product animations. There Will Be Haters is a campaign that embodies self-confidence, and just as the narrator of the #therewillbehaters video reassures: “They hate your shiny new boots. They hate your boots because they wish they were in them.”
