Directed by Gustav Johansson and produced by New Land, this cool, calm and collected commercial is an ode to the Swedish winter. The short proves that, in all its harshness, there is beauty in the cold darkness that engulfs the country each year.
With most of the shots captured on 35mm film, attention to detail was of utmost importance. Our team was involved from the early planning stages through to the final edits of post-production. Our work included a wide range of digital manipulation, from complete reworks of shots using matte paintings of ships to enhancing weather by adding skies, mist, fern frost and snow.
