STOPP 2014. Åkestam Holst
On behalf of Åkestam Holst, our Stockholm team produced this claim to fame for Swedish pharmacy Apotek Hjärtat. To promote their new Apolosophy line of hair products, Stockholm subway commuters were treated to a mind-blowing special effect. By capturing the turbulence from the trains, the digital ad made it look like the model’s hair was caught by the wind. To achieve this effect, a device was built that included an ultrasonic sensor connected to a Raspberry Pi mini computer and local network socket. This setup could accurately sense the coming and going of trains without being affected by passing commuters.
