It was the creative concept behind this commercial that immediately caught our attention. The story, scripted by Traktor, involves a man who decides the best way to spend his lottery winnings is to build a slot car race track in his hometown — all because he never managed to get his driver’s license. During the production process we came across a series of interesting questions, like how would the weight of the 1:1 model impact its movement, and what speed should the model travel at to look and feel like its toy equivalent? VFX Supervisor, Arvid Björn, tackled these questions head on together with Traktor and King. From there, they developed the modeled car, the tracks, and the electric engine.
