My name is Fred, Raymond’s son and I’m the sales manager at Fiberpool.
Dad, we are loosing sales due to online competition. We need to adapt our company to the new digital environment.
RAYMOND
Why? Our current website doesn’t generate any leads and we have already invested in many different software solutions.
So far, I don’t see any return on our investments. It’s just not working out for us.
FRED
Dad, I know it is not an easy change. To succeed we have to re-invent our business model, implement new tools and integrate new competencies. To generate more leads, we have to be more visible!
RAYMOND
Yes indeed. But how?
FRED
We must make it easier for people to find us. By creating interesting content, we bring traffic to our website. We call this "Inbound marketing".
RAYMOND
That’s a foreign concept to me. Can you please explain it to me and show me how it’s more an opportunity than a loss of money?
