The Good Mod furniture showroom and workshop in Portland, Oregon has fans as far away as Japan. Evan is part of the Good Mod team. His model good looks and a slightly shy smile definitely make an impression.
He’s been tinkering with bikes since he was about 15 years old, when his friends would hang out in his family’s yard and talk about bikes.
He owns an ’84 XL. As he kick starts his bike, his shy demeanor takes a turn for the wild.
“I use it to commute to work, and I rode it hundreds of miles when I went camping with friends in Nevada!”
His vintage bike is older than he is, and shows off a different side of his personality.

15歳の頃からバイクいじりが趣味で、友達と家の庭に集まっては、バイク談義をしていたんだとか。
愛車の84年製のXLをキックする姿は、彼のルックスとは裏腹にすっごくワイルドだ。
「通勤にも使ってるし、ネバダでは数百マイルを友達とバイクで走って、キャンプしたんだよ！」
自分より年上のヴィンテージバイクが、彼の別の一面を見せてくれるんだ。
