Kay does not know, why his parents gave him a girls name... but he can prove, that he is a boy man!

In 2005 he lived and studied abroad in Wellington / New Zealand, where he fed a huge gorilla named Kong at WETA DIGITAL as a Post-Production Assistant. In 2013, he graduated successfully from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, where he studied COMMERCIAL DIRECTING since 2007. He participated in the Hollywood Workshop 2012 at UCLA in Los Angeles, supported by the Baden-Württemberg scholarship.

He loves storytelling in all formats, but admits, that commercial directing is the best job in the world!

He currently lives in Berlin, where he is working hard to insert his humor, quirky visual style and his focus on interesting characters into his films.
