Tucker’s background in photojournalism and documentary provides him with a unique cinematic vision centered on authenticity. His ability to work intimately with his subjects builds their trust, giving them the comfort to open up on camera. His vivid imagery and dynamic edits bring viewers on a visceral and emotional journey, allowing them to experience life through the eyes of his subjects.
During the 2016 Election, Tucker made a film called #WeTrumpHate which was shared on social media by notable figures including Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Senator Cory Booker and more.
Tucker recently collected numerous awards for his work tackling the opioid crisis with Energy BBDO and the National Safety Council, including six Cannes Lions, two AICP Next Awards, four D&AD Pencils, and eight Cubes at the ADC Awards. He was awarded a Cannes Lion and Gold Clio for his work with W+K NY and Delta Airlines.
Before joining the director roster at m ss ng p eces, Tucker worked with the award-winning team at MediaStorm, editing content for "A Darkness Visible: Afghanistan", which was nominated for an Emmy. Prior to that, he was the Senior Multimedia Editor for NPR’s InternEdition. Tucker has also shot and produced over 30 films for The Washington Post. He earned his BFA in Photojournalism from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, D.C.
Tucker has directed films for iconic brands including Adidas, Apple, Amex, BMW, Chevrolet, Delta Airlines, Facebook, Ford Motors, General Motors, Google, GE, Hasbro, Intel, IBM, Kia, Microsoft, Mitsubishi, Pepsi, Pfizer, Verizon, and more.
He has collaborated with some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers, including former Vice President Al Gore, supermodel Karlie Kloss, CEO & actress Jessica Alba, and soccer superstar Lionel Messi.
