Hailing from Somerset, Sye is a genuine student of the industry.

His first short film “The Last of Laurence Corner” was shown at the V&A and this was quickly followed by music videos for the Noisettes, Paloma Faith, and Razorlight.

In 2016 Sye founded APOSTLE; the production arm of the UK’s oldest independent advertising agency, and working for clients ranging from Pepsi Max to Mooncup and talent ranging from Bill Nighy to Michelle Keegan, he has developed an eclectic reel with a strong cinematic aesthetic that demands attention regardless of the subject matter.

2018 has already seen Sye directing for WestJet airlines and Very.co.uk, and he’s also written and directed his first fiction short film “BEASTS” starring Francis Magee, which is currently being well rewarded on the festival circuit.

Whether it’s a one hundred camera technical shoot or a straight up comedy performance spot, Sye will bring a distinctive look and a 1st class work ethic to any project.
