Sasha Levinson is an award winning writer and director of films, commercials, and branded entertainment. She recently completed co-writing and directing four short films for Las Vegas Tourism which went viral upon release and has garnered a dramatic emotional response across the globe. She began her career in the electric music video scene of the early 2000s. After her first short film, THE STORK & THE PUSSYCAT, premiered at SXSW and her video for the band Cake, was featured in SHOTS Magazine and nominated for an MTV Award, that she began to be recognized for her ability to capture humanity in a uniquely stirring way. 2018 also sees the completion of WELCOME TO GRANDVILLE, a narrative short and interactive film which had its premiere at the The Cleveland International Film Festival, Perspectives Exhibition. It will have its New York premier at the Soho International Film Festival in June 2018. In 2017, she created two short documentaries for Tribeca Content Studio and the Tribeca Film Festival Disrupter Awards titled, UN-BELIEVERS. In 2016, she wrote and directed, A FORCE FOR GOOD: The Mother—a multi-narrative piece created for the Dalai Lama to communicate his vision for how we can change the world—one act of compassion at a time. The film was nominated for the prestigious AICP Next Award.In 2010, Sasha co-wrote and produced the feature film, THE BAD PENNY, which won The Golden Palm Award at the Beverly Hills International Film Festival, and "Best Feature Film" at the Soho International Film Festival.With multiple feature film and episodic TV projects in development under the banner of her company, LE FILM SHOP, Sasha has also spent the last several years cultivating a portfolio of award winning advertising content at HUMBLE for brands including Microsoft, Starbucks, Walmart and Samsung.
