Eric started working in the film industry in Toronto, Canada in 1993 while enrolled in the Film program at Ryerson University. In 2001 Eric started his career as a cinematographer and steadicam operator, first in music videos, then moving on to tv commercials, and feature films. In 2008, Eric travelled to Bali, Indonesia for a five month project, shooting a feature length documentary. After the doc was wrapped, he decided to stay on in Asia and moved to Malaysia in 2009. While in Asia, he shot commercials for clients such as Audi, Coca Cola, Samsung, McDonald’s, Braun, and worked with international agencies such as Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Grey, BBDO, Dentsu, Ogilvy, just to name a few. After a fruitful seven years in Asia, Eric decided to relocate to Barcelona, Spain where he is currently based. Eric is an accredited member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC) and the Malaysian Society of Cinematographers (MySC).
