Richard graduated at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, USA majoring in Advertising and Film Production. With “Concept comes before execution” as his vision, he set up his own company Bleu Arc Pictures Production Limited in Hong Kong in 1989. He acted as the Director and Director of Photography in his own works. Richard’s strong multi-cultural background has made him a specialist in storytelling through the lens, and his profound knowledge in camera and lighting as well as editing also contributes to creating a unique style of his own. He is well recognized by the commercial industry as an all-rounded director who can master big scale productions, special effects, action and sports, skin care, drama/ humor and production with celebrities. Category of TV commercials he has produced covers household products, fashion, skin care, food and beverage, financial services, automotive, tele-communication, etc., ranging from thematic communication to product-focused advertising for brands around the world.
