Antonis Kounellas was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He has a Bachelor's in Photography and Visual Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design School of Athens, and a Bachelor's in Cinematography from Akmi College in Athens. He has worked on numerous projects in Greece and abroad, including feature films, TV commercials, short films, corporate videos, music videos and more, and has collaborated with acclaimed directors as well as institutions such as National Geographic and the History Channel. His projects have traveled to domestic and international film festivals, including the short film "Media Melea" in Cannes, and he has received awards for Best Cinematography and Technical Excellence.
