Emerging from the world of fine art and visual effects, Australian Film and Animation Director Helen Clemens is representative of a new generation of artists who work across multiple disciplines, employing the classic methods and sensibilities of film and design. She burst onto the commercial directing scene with her stunning animated SBS Films, which made her one of the Cannes Lions Young Directors, featured in 2011, and won her Best Animation at New York Promax BDA the same year. Most recently Helen’s 2016 work on KFC’s Edible Nail Polish Integrated Campaign amassed a tidal wave of global media attention. Featuring in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, BBC, CNN, Vogue and Perez Hilton. The campaign was a nominee at the Webby Awards and received multiple awards at the Spikes Asia, Adfest and Kam Fan. Helen’s film work has been showcased in international film and advertising publications such as Shots Magazine, Luerzer’s Archive, Motionographer, Stash Media and Australian Creative.   Helen is a graduate from the University of Sydney, Sydney College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Visual Arts.
