Kan-anek Rachatasakul is a cinematographer based in Bangkok. He is a graduate of Bangkok University where he majored in film production. During his years studying at the Bangkok University, he received many awards from film contests such as the Canon U challenge and the A.I.R. Film contest.
Immediately after college, Kan-anek followed his passion and became an independent filmmaker working as a director, editor and cameraman. He shot various TV series, commercials, music videos and short films.
In 2014, in order to deepen his knowledge in cinematography, he went for an MA in cinematography at FAMU (Film and TV school of academy of performing arts), Prague and graduated in 2016.
Kan-anek work is described as cinematic, modern and beautiful. He is known for his use of light in setting moods and manipulating emotions that compliment the script. He brings passionate love of quality filmmaking and a drive for excellence, while being a strategic and efficient team player completing projects on time and on budget.
