Michael Fragstein was born in Sosnowiec in Poland and grew up in the south west of Germany. He studied architecture and design at the state academy of art and design, Stuttgart in Germany and at the University Lusiada in Lisbon, Portugal. In 2002, he started his career as a 3D freelancer in the field of architecture. In 2006, he became the creative head of the design studio “Büro Achter April”. He started teaching architecture and design students at the university of applied sciences Augsburg and Regensburg in 2016.
