Originally hailing from the world of electronic music, the 35 year old Bavarian moved to Berlin in the early 2000s and immediately devoted himself to the fields of film, sound and design. Having completed his film course in 2006, together with two partners, he founded MONOMANGO. A multi-disciplinary film and design studio based in Berlin. Since then, in his role as film director and creative director, he has worked on countless campaigns – primarily in the fashion, lifestyle and automotive sectors, spatial communication projects, as well as contemporary art and cultural projects.

Alex Feil
A native of Germany, Alex Feil was immersed in storytelling at a young age, growing up in a family of theater makeup artists. His pursuit of film began when he was a student working as an assistant film editor at a German TV station. Upon graduation, Alex continued his post-production work, immediately finding success as a freelance editor for both commercials and documentaries throughout Germany.
After five years spent honing his editing and post-production craft, Alex found his directorial breakthrough with the 2006 commercial “The Jump” for a.r.t. studios, which garnered him international honors. Since that time, Alex has earned over 30 awards for his advertising work, most memorably for his campaigns for auto manufacturers including Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar. In addition to his directorial work, Alex is also a member of the Art Directors Club, where he serves as a juror for international advertising festivals.
Executive Producer Luke Thornton says, “Alex is a consummate storyteller, with a particularly deft command of comedy. His unique point of view and international experience makes him a perfect fit for Believe.” Fellow West Coast EP Mark O’Sullivan echoes Luke’s enthusiasm, saying, “We are thrilled to have signed such a talented director with such a broad range of skills. Alex is as comfortable shooting metal as he is getting a wry comedic performance.”

Kratzin and Schlierf
With years of flying solo as commercial directors we finally joined forces to double our impact on the film industry to work as a directors duo. We can hardly tell if it was our passion for a nice explosion every once in a while or our enthusiasm for film in common that got us synced the very first moment we met. But it’s both that got us addicted to movies and moviemaking. So we are happy to present our portfolio. As happiness is only real when shared we are happy to share and create some remarkable moments with you in the future.

Hans Christoph Schultheiss
He now feels quite at home at Sehsucht in Hamburg and enjoys going crazy with a group of skilled artists. He loves good stories, well-timed animations and exotic frogs. Yet, he hates tomatoes! In celebrating his split personality through his alter ego HANZOHANZO not only allows him to write about himself from a third person perspective without feeling completely pompous, but also to express his diverse tastes for visual storytelling. Hans considers himself a real “Hans in Luck” to be a designer and director of animated movies for esteemed clients like Lamborghini, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Mazda, Skoda and Sony. Projects he was involved in have received awards from ADC, VDW, Animago, Red Dot and the New York Festivals as well as several other accolades.
