Jonathan Lennard’s career as a fashion photographer happened as fast as a cover for the Face in London, then Esquire in the US, then British Vogue in the UK, then L’Officiel in Paris.

A shoot with Julia Roberts put him on the photographer’s roadmap. Lennard did not stop at photography. Intrigued by moving images, which this auteur relays, “catches excitement and emotions that stills images can not,” Lennard has been shooting commercials around the world for brands such as Garnier, Nokia, Dove, and Sony. In fact, Lennard’s background in fashion photography has given him a unique niche in the commercial world—the ability to shoot campaigns that fall under the realm of fashion and beauty.

Lennard has experience shooting internationally; in the United States, South America and particularly across Asia.

Current Projects: In between shooting commercials in Brazil and India, Lennard is in the early stages of pre-production for a first feature length film.

His recent work includes commercials for Chevrolet, Garnier Skincare, Tresemme hair for the US market, Garnier hair for Brazil, Dove Hair, Lux skin, Ponds skincare, Mahindra autos,Titan watches, Lakme skincare…and many more. He has also recently worked with leading Indian celebrity talents for different commercials: Priyanka Chopra, Katarina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai, and the up and coming Yami Gautam.
