Kentaro Osawa is a film director who graduated the Kyoto University of Art & Design, gained experience as an editor and designer at a publishing company, and became an apprentice of Kouki Tange after joining Yellow Brain, a film production company, in 2009. He has worked on many films including commericial films, music videos, short fimls, and event performance videos, as a director, film writer, and motion graphic artist. In 2016, He participated in a competition which required participants to create a short film within 48 hours, where "PARADISE", a film he directed, won Grand Prix. It was screened at the 70th Cannes Film Festival for the short film category. He has been nominated and awarded at many festivals including Filmapalooza,  Sapporo International Short Film Festival, New Directors Film Festival, and West Tokyo Film Festival.

映像ディレクター。京都造形芸術大学卒業後、出版社にてエディター・デザイナーの経験を経て、2009年より映像制作会社イエローブレインに入社し、丹下紘希氏に師事。2013年、ディレクターとして独立。

コマーシャルフィルム、ミュージックビデオ、短編映画、イベント演出映像などを中心に演出家、映像作家、モーショングラフィッカーとして数多くの映像作品を手がける。

2016年に参加した、48時間以内に短編映画を制作するコンペティションにおいて、監督した作品「PARADISE」がグランプリを受賞。第70回カンヌ国際映画祭 短編部門にて正式上映された。

その他、Filmapalooza、札幌国際短編映画祭、新人監督映画祭、西東京市民映画祭などノミネート・受賞多数。
