Filmmaking has taken Christoffer von Reis on an epic journey from the tiny Swedish island of Oland to international prominence. After completing his studies in art and photography, he moved to Stockholm and joined the production company Atmosfar. Numerous prize-winning campaigns around the world followed, as Christoffer traveled far and wide shooting for brands like Diesel Jeans, Opel, SAS, and Coca-Cola. Five years later he joined EPA, a Stockholm-based production company, where his forte became directing iconic commercials for the Scandinavian markets. In 2002, Christoffer made an entrepreneurial move by co-founding Camp David Film with fellow directors Bjorn Stein, Sebastian Reed, and Robert Jitzmark, as well as producers Johan Persson and Peter Kydd. Christoffer helmed groundbreaking work at Camp David for prestigious Scandinavian and global clients such as IKEA, Svenska Spel, and Volvo. In search of new challenges, he then moved on to found von Film in 2014. His impressive body of work convinced Stink Prague to snap him up for the US market in 2012. Ever since, Christoffer’s stateside films have proven that the kid from Oland may have been one of advertising’s best-kept secrets all along. Christoffer has a longtime experience with shooting in Czech Republic, together with Czech crew.
