Ben Strebel is an exciting young British-Swiss director whose reel boasts a wealth of eye-catching work in multiple discipline  filmmaking. He signed to Somesuch & Co as a director following the success of his music video / short film for Clock Opera 'Once And For All' that has won him numerous awards and nominations to date including the Raindance Film Festival.

He started his career carving visuals for brands, documentaries and music videos for the likes of Madness, Phoenix, Stereo MCs and The Big Pink, whilst also directing fashion films for Vivienne Westwood, Allsaints and Nayboot Swiss to name just a few.

His eclectic experience over the past few years has fed into a fruitful career in commercial film making, having worked with brands such as BMW, Becks, Nokia and Coke. Ben is now enjoying a fast rise in the world of commercials having recently directed a commercial for Missing People for BBH, a government funded initiative that was recently listed as Campaign's Pick of the Week.

His approach to story telling is driven consistently by careful casting, art direction, visual techniques and cinematography.
