I am an Icelander born and raised in Reykjavik where I am a co-owner of the production house Republik Film Productions. 

I have directed award-winning music videos, directing for Damien Rice and Hjaltalin.  I also have directed hundreds of commercials for clients like Jeep, Walgreens, Behr, eBay, Audi, Sony, McDonalds, Walmart and Ikea. Before blossoming into a director, I worked as an editor and assistant cameraman under the tutelage of my father, who was a mainstay in Icelandic production with the family owned production house, Saga Film. While as a civilian, I was previously an influential radio host, music journalist and a bass player in a garage band. I still keeps up a music blog. I reside in Los Angeles with my family and petting zoo (1 dog, 2 cats, 1 tortoise), occasionally riding my Brit Iron or my old Mercedes. Hobbies and interests include Land Rovers, English football, bicycling, basketball and making models. Oh...and I am a red wine fanatic.
