Accueilli, en tant que Padawan, dès son adolescence par Valentin Monge, faire et en faisant se faire l'amène en stage auprès de Ted Churchill et Jacques Monge en novembre 1992. Dès lors, "Petit Mozart" n'aura de cesse de contribuer à l'art du Steadicam, notamment à travers ses fructueuses collaborations avec Luc Besson.   Valentin Monge Welcomed like a Padawan by Valentin Monge throughout his teenage, through rigorous training it led him to train with Ted Churchill and Jacques Monge in November 1992. Since then "Little Mozart" has continued to contribute to the art of the Steadicam, particularly through his successful collaborations with Luc Besson.   Valentin Monge.

Fredrik went to film school at the age of 21 but was already an experienced director, with a series of self-created horror films.

After three years at film school he immediately dove into the world of music videos as a DP. He shot videos for Madonna, Kylie, Depeche Mode, Jamiroquai, Natalie Imbruglia, Peter Gabriel, Nick Cave, New Order, Razorlight, Sugababes, Stereophonics and Zero 7 amongst many others.

He then took the natural progression into commercials where his first spot as a DP was a three minute long cinema ad for Waterfall, a European energy company. It won the hearts of the industry and the public garnering several awards.

Freddy gained international acclaim in 2000 when he shared the MTV Best Cinematography nomination with John Mathieson for the Madonna music video ‘American Pie’. In 2006 he was awarded the coveted Gold Lion at Cannes for directing and lighting in the online category for IKEA. He was also recognised as Best Director and Cinematographer at the 2006 New York Film Festival.
