What I learned from being a film director.I learned about human beings, human thoughts, and Human needs.
I learned about economics and marketing.
I learned about the relationship between people’s needs and the marketing meachanism.
I learned about the advertising role in society.
I learned that we somehow all have potential.
I learned that we can’t stop improving ourselves.
I learned that a great team is the key factor for great work.
I learned that great work can inspire people.
I learned that to become perfect, you don’t need to be rich but you need to be happy.
I learned that the essence of life is to get back to simplicity, and live with nature.
The most important part is that I know myself, and I know what I really want to do.That’s what I’ve learned so far

Erik Morales
Born in Barcelona in 1978, Erik originally had plans of studying fine arts. But his love for drawing illustrations and comics, combined with his discovery of underground films, sparked his interest in cinema. The prominent new films and film directors from his teenage years inspired his passion to become a director himself. Upon graduating he chose media studies over arts and enrolled at the University 'Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación Blanquerna.' While attending he directed many short films, winning prizes in festivals around Spain.
After finishing his degree, Erik began an internship at the RCR production company in Barcelona. He assisted staff directors with treatments, drawing storyboards, shooting, and directed some 2nd unit footage for them. It was at RCR that he truly learned the art of directing.
Shortly after RCR, Erik spent time shooting short films and fashion pieces, putting together a reel that, at the age of 25, gained him his first professional directing opportunity with GOT in Barcelona. Erik's 3rd commercial with GOT went on to win a Silver FIAP award.
When he's not directing commercials he spends his time with 16-month-old daughter and is developing his first feature film.
In the last several years he has captured the attention of many clients: Nike, Audi, Mercedes, VW, Coca Cola, Diesel, Toyota, and Sony to name a few. Erik has garnered high recognition at the international festivals FIAP, Sol de Sebastian, CdC, and Laus. He has been shortlisted many times at Cannes...and in 2011 he won his first Bronze Lion for his NIKE 'Shine' spot. Three of his commercials - Nike "Magnificent 5", VW Beetle "Balloon" and Audi "Projections" - were shown at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid.
