Sophie Le Gendre
Sophie puts you at ease and makes you relax and smile - such qualities are reflected in her extraordinary ability to work so well with children. Capturing laughter, natural innocence and magical moments all beautifully lit and composed makes her work truly stand out.
Sophie studied at the Union of Decorative Arts after graduating with honours to then begin work in advertising agencies. 7 years at BETC as artistic director (Peugeot, Galleries Lafayette, Small boat, etc.) followed by 2 years Director of Creation at Lowe Alice (Georges Rech, INPES, Leclerc, etc).
She progressed to become a Director working on innumerable commercials for Fitness, Huggies, Kinder, Paprec, La Redoute, Carambar, Bledina to name a few plus shot music videos for Martin Solveig, Salif Keita and Jean Murat Luois. She also works as a fashion photographer (Very French Gangsters, Oscar Carvallo) and is now increasingly commissioned to shoot the stills on her commercial projects.
