Nattawut "Baz" Poonpiriya is a Thai director, working extensively on television commercials and music videos.

He graduated with MFA in stage directing and worked as an assistance director and a director for TV commercials for 3 years. Then he decided to go to New York to continue his education in graphic design at Pratt Institute.

After 4 years of Studied and made several short films, Baz returned home in 2011 and started working as a MV Director for an Artists such as Bodyslam, Polycat, Pop Pongkul Before directed his first feature film called " Countdown " a thriller from GTH studio. Then followed up in the year 2017 with an awards winning, high-school heist thriller " Bad Genius " ( ฉลาดเกมส์โกง )

Afterward, his passion in storytelling expand to more commercial area. He and his partner from New York starting their own production company " Houseton film "which created an exciting and most talked about works in advertisement. such as Wacoal's My Beautiful Woman series, Thai life insurance company, and recently a short film called " LALIN " for Pornkasem facial clinic.
