On May 25th, 2017 Noh artist, Ryoko Aoki performed Nopera, combining Noh, a form of Japanese traditional theatre with contemporary music and fashion at Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto. This one-night live performance complemented by the latest visual expression was organized to celebrate the launch of Les Merveilles Homage to Kyoto Artistry Limited Edition 55, the collaboration of MONTBLANC, the fountain pen brand, and Chiso, the Kyo Yuzen kimono dyeing manufacturer founded in 1555.
Based on the fictional story of Aoi no Ue in the Tale of Genji, that portrays an intense ordeal of sorrow and resentment, this show combined one of the oldest forms of Japanese theatre, Noh with contemporary music and cutting-edged visual that was projected onto cubical screens.
Many experienced and witnessed the mixture of Japanese aesthetics in the progressive form.

2017年5月25日、京都清水寺にて、アーティスト青木涼子による日本の伝統「能」と、現代音楽やファッションの要素をミックスした能オペラに、JKD制作の映像を絡めた一夜限りのライブショウが行われました。このイベントは、万年筆ブランドMONTBLANCと、1555年創業の京友禅の老舗「千總（ちそう）」のコラボレーションによる限定商品の誕生を記念して行われたもの。
悲しみ、恨みなどの激しい情念が表現される源氏物語の「葵上」(あおいのうえ）をベースに、世界最古の芸術と言われる「能」の舞台と、現代音楽、キューブ型スクリーンに投影された先鋭的なビジュアルを融合し、日本の美意識が高い次元で表現された特別なライブ体験となりました。
