"Darwin" is an epic piece of music, a work of cinematic and introspective beauty.
It now also becomes a great video, artfully directed by Liao Jiaming and Zhang Riwen, multi-disciplinary artists based in Hong-Kong.
After setting up an odd, yet beautiful groove, a bold guitar synthesiser steals the narrative arc to tell its own story to finally lead the track to an evocative break, where it invites a tenor saxophone to tangle its sound into its own, creating a beautiful landscape where human and machines meet.
Experimenting with lights and shadows created by different types of materials, this video is a reflection of optical emotions in daily urban life.
