A fairly unnecessary quarantine production by Nisan Yetkin.
Lower than low budget!
Made with absolutely 100% social distancing at the peak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak worldwide.
Actors include a small Norwegian angel figurine (Angelique, the worker-girl), a small English goat figurine, a rakı bottle, Obina from "Ahh Real Monsters!" (the 90s-00s kiddos will get it), a rotten tooth and a vandalized biometric photo booth picture of me, as well as a packet of Alka Seltzer as one of the town's evil overlords.
The DIY film set design includes a small Johnnie Walker whiskey bottle, a medium-sized Beylerbeyi Rakı bottle, three audio cassettes of Queen, Dire Straits and Duman, and a toy car from a kinder egg. Also, thank you to Papier Damas tobacco rolling paper for sponsoring the town's roads - it truly means a lot.
I've taken sounds from freesound.org and also stolen a bit from Patricia Barber's Mourning Grace (which I will remove if I receive any complaints, obviously).
A critique of capitalism? Yes, always. A useful critique of capitalism? Only time will tell.
Enjoy?
