“Ant Man” is based on Marvel Comic’s characters Scott Lang and Dr. Hank Pym. Ex-con man Scott Lang is fresh out of prison for theft when Dr. Pym, asks for his help. Armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants, Lang embraces his inner hero and uses his new skills to prevent villain Yellowjacket from perfecting the same technology to use as a weapon for evil.
Luma’s work on the film includes extensive fully CG environments, CG Ant-Man, CG ants, creating set extensions inside Pymtech, and building compositing a San Fransisco skyline set extension into exterior Pymtech shots.
