We worked with Jung von Matt in Berlin on this three month project to find creatively outstanding Nikon photographers from entry level amateur to high grade professional to match the target market for the important launch of Nikon’s new cameras. We compiled a list of hundreds of brilliant photographers around the world, then contacted them discretely to find out their camera brand, their history of promo/commercial shoots or work for competitors and even whether their personality fit with Nikon’s brand.
Through Skype, email and web trawling we whittled down a short-list in collaboration with Jung von Matt. After the final selection we handled the pre-contract negotiations including writing a memorandum of understanding and drafting basic agreements. This was a flagship piece of communication for a major product launch which relied on our keen eye for photography, our intense research skills and our discrete professionalism.
