A series of high contrast super slow motion animations of the world’s greatest women athletes, created using meticulously cut-out, hi-resolution stills.
Parallaxing backgrounds, atmospheric effects of light, dust, raindrops, hot breath on a cold morning and flowing hair combine to create a highly original set of bold and powerful portraits. Finished off defiantly by a set of stylish, punchy copylines these beautiful moving paintings added some real Nike gravitas to their continuing support of women in sport.
The films were projected on architecture around Paris during Fashion Week and in Berlin on
International Women’s Day.
