Recently, Shibuya has become Halloween central in Japan, with mobs of costume-wearing partiers descending on the neighborhood. While it looks like they have a blast, they do leave a lot of trash. So, SOD developed 'world's most ecological product', an interactive rubbish box as a way to say thanks to Shibuya.
A sexy voice coming from the rubbish box greats you every-time you throw something, and the greeting is a pun on the Japanese words used for different types of rubbish: burnable (adorable), non-burnable (not cute), cans&bottles (sensitive). We volunteered to help with the hardware involved in the projects.
ハロウインイベントでのゴミ問題を解決するべく、いつもお世話になっている渋谷に感謝の気持ちを込めてSODが「世界一エコいIoTプロダクト」を開発しました。ゴミを捨てるとゴミ箱の中からセクシーな声が聞こえてくるインタラクティブゴミ箱。ゴミに合わせて「萌えるゴミ箱」、「萌えないゴミ箱」、「ビンカンゴミ箱」の３種類、ゴミの量や大きさによって台詞がかわります。BIRDMANスタッフはボランティア活動としてドエコチームに参加し、このゴミ箱のハードウエアの開発を担当しました。
