A brief look at our two week trip through Iceland. Traveling around the whole island in 11 days gave us a marvelous opportunity to capture all the different landscapes and locations that Iceland has to offer. Visiting Iceland in this time of year is fantastic as the snow has melted, but the icebergs and glacial ice flows are still in the process of melting. An added benefit is the fact that the tourist season hasn't quite started which leaves you to capture the landscapes without people peppering your frame.
We filmed this entirely on the RED Epic Dragon (handheld) and the DJI Inspire for the aerial shots. Even though Iceland is one of the top five windiest countries in the world, the Inspire held it's own in gusts of about 30 MPH.
