We helped kick-off Google’s annual developer conference with an epic animation leading up to Sundar Pichai’s CEO keynote. We crafted a countdown animation that pays tribute to the technological innovations from earlier decades that have made today possible. Each number is featured through a different product, reminding the audience of bygone decades and aesthetic — from punch cards to holograms. The 3D animation unfolded across three theatre screens, with each screen adding to the anticipation. Millions of viewers from all over the world tuned in to see the animation (or the keynote, we’re not sure).
