“Echtes Leder” premiered exclusively on London’s SHOWstudio before being screened at the at the Milan Fashion Film Festival 2017.
As dawn rises, a new life is born. Borne from decay, rotting flesh prompts obliteration. We disappear. Consumed by creatures, the cycle completes. Decay nourishes creation, from dust, matter; a blank slate. From birth, our skin retains the impressions of our existence, impregnable stories created by time. We form an identity, entwined in a visceral mesh: hatching, breathing, feeling. Artificial synthesis, real leather.
