Roto/matte painting.
Several shots in the film required some VFX to bring Beatrix Potter's artwork to life.
Working with the team at Passion Pictures, I was asked to paint out the characters from scans of Miss Potter's original artwork so that the animators could reinsert animated versions of the characters back in.
