Marketa Tomanova - One Day With John G. Morris

This time last year, we made a film about John G. Morris for his 100th birthday. Actually filmed on the day of the American election results. John was one of the most respected photo editor, author and journalist. He was an important figure in the history of photojournalism having worked for Life Magazine, New York Times, The Washington Post, National Geographic, Magnum Agency etc... As Life's London picture editor he was responsible for the coverage of the invasion of France on June 6, 1944 – D-Day, thus editing the historic photographs of Robert Capa.
Sadly, he has left us recently and we’d like to commemorate his memory with this film directed by Marketa Tomanova and produced by TROUBLEMAKERS.tv. We would like to thank his family and all the crew involved.
